250g they’re not especially heavy (though almost 100g more than Bose’s QuietComfort 3 noise-cancelling headphones) and long-term comfort is excellent.

But for a long plane ride, I would favor the $350 QuietComfort 3, the latest model from Bose. It weighs just 5.6 ounces, and doesn't cup the ears;
